About me

During my 18-year career in the hospitality industry, I have had the opportunity to work independently with a variety of companies performing many duties from Dishwasher to Chef, Bus Boy to server, bartender, assistant manager to General Manager.  Been a liaison with head office, multiple store locations, staff and suppliers. I have helped build a restaurant from the ground up. Found suppliers, hired and trained staff, designed operational and managerial systems. Taken over a restaurant that has failed an Audit (59%) and brought it to an 85% in 3 months.

After receiving a diploma in management from Conestoga College in Kitchener, I achieved my professional designation for C.I.M. (Canadian Institute of Management) from Mohawk College.  I am comfortable with computers and was part owner in a business that specialized in computer automation for the hospitality industry and have designed and managed databases for point of sale and inventory purposes. I have used all Microsoft Office programs for various purposes such as making business cards, flyer’s, brochure’s, making PowerPoint presentations, faxing and scanning, building spreadsheets…..etc

In December of 2011 I left my career in hospitality to enter a new career in HVAC. I have completed my G2 and have worked for 2 years on new home construction and working with crews installing for Reliance.
